PP Sathma Jayasinghe, the District Rotaract Representative, to spill the beans. She shared her wisdom on initiating, implementing, and concluding projects while juggling multiple tasks like a pro. Session 02: The Art of Reporting
Completing a project is one thing; reporting it is another ball game. Rtr. PP. Thisura Ramanayake, the mastermind behind this session, took the helm on August 30, 2023. He schooled the Board of Directors on constructing reports using the Rotaract Management Information System (RMIS). Think report formats, sections, and all the secret content – it was a crash course in report wizardry.
Session 03: Canva Magic and Social Media Wizardry
The grand finale happened on October 26, 2023, with Rtr. Hiruni Hettiarachchi, Assistant Secretary of the Rotaract Club of Achievers Lanka Business School, at the helm. First up, Canva! She unleashed the secrets of designing eye-catching posters and gave the Board Members a hands-on experience. Then, she dove into the world of social media management – from hashtags to logos, it was a social media masterclass.
Objectives: Unveiling the Potential Within
Leaders’ Loom aimed to transform the Board of Directors into the architects of project management and report writing excellence, elevating members to the status of poster designing and video editing virtuosos. It sought to infuse fresh, innovative ideas through the wisdom of experienced Rotaractors, crafting an unforgettable learning experience that sparks a perpetual desire for knowledge. Ultimately, the objective was to empower Avenue Directors with the skills to independently navigate project planning, report writing, and marketing landscapes. Goals: Beyond Classroom Horizons.
